AWARDS TO N.Z. AIRMEN
NINE D.F.C.’S AND ONE D.F.M. Wellington, April 6. Nine awards of the Distinguished Flying Cross and one of the Distinguished Flying Medal have been made to New Zealand airmen, according to advice received by the Air Department. The recipients are: Distinguished Flying Cross. Fit. Lt. Eric Kemp Buchanan, Auckland. Fit. Lt. John Pierson Ford, Christchurch. Fit. Lt. William James Murphy, Gisborne. F/O Brook Abbott Taylor, Wellington. F/O James Herbert Moore. Auckland. P/O Norman William Trevor Beetham, Masterton. P/O Patrick Lawder Connolly, Auckland. P/O Mons Edwin Murtell, Auckland. P/O Horace Victor Sole, Cambridge. . Distinguished Flying Medal. P/O Nigel Manfred Park (killed in action), Poverty Bay.—P.A.
