BOMBER COMMAND OFFENSIVE

GERMAN OIL SUPPLIES ATTACKED London, April 5. The Air Ministry News Service states that the Bomber Command last night resumed the offensive against Germany's oil supplies, sending out well over 1000 aidcraft. Strong forces of Lancasters and Halifaxes bombed Lutzkendorf and Leuna. synthetic oil plants at Merseburg and Rhenania and an oil refinery at Harburg.
