Mr C. A. Hendry. LL.B.. District Public Trustee for Nelson, has received advice of his appointment, on promotion. to a position in the Head Office of the Department, in Wellington. Sir Francis Fraser has been reappointed Transport Appeal Authority for a term of three years from the beginning of this year. Major G. L. Mather. M.A., Dip. Ed., formerly assistant director of the Army Education and Welfare Service, has been appointed assistant secretary of the Wellington Education Board and took up his duties on March 15.
