Saturday was sunny and hot, ■ j the temperature rising to 69.2 degrees, but in the late afternoon a sudden ! change came from the south-w'est. The 5 temperature dropped sharply and a 5 thunderstorm passed over Nelson, followed by a light shower. Snow fell on the western ranges, but it was soon dispersed by the sun next morning. The . night w r as cool, with a minimum tem- , perature of 38 degrees. Sunday was t j again pleasantly sunny, though not so warm, the temperature not rising above ,165.5 degrees, falling to 38.6 degrees last , 1 night.
