BUS SHELTERS
ITo the Editoi I Sir. —Cannot something be done to provide some sort of shelter for Port passengers waiting for the buses on wet days? In driving northerly rain passengers waiting on Wakefield Quay at the foot of Richardson street. Victoria road, and Stepneyville are exposed to the full force of the weather. Of these three stops the one completely devoid of any effective adjacent shelter is that at Richardson street. at which point there are usually several passengers boarding or leaving passing buses. In view of the roomy bus shelter at Tahuna, it is odd that nothing has been considered necessary elsewhere. A much less expensive structure than the Tahuna shed would suffice at Richardson street, and in addition to its use as a bus shelter would be a boon to the public generally enjoying the view at this pleasant and much frequented spot' on the waterfront. —I am. etc., PORT RESIDENT.
