ROAD CYCLING
SATURDAY’S RACE The Nelson Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club will hold a 22 mile road race on Saturday over a circular course from Nelson Post Office via Tahuna. Annesbrook, Bishopdale and Vanguard street, thrfee times round, finishing at All Saints’ Church. This race should be of particular interest to the public as the riders will pass any given point on the route three times. Handicaps have been declared as fol- j lows: B. Tear, P. Howes, K. Grigg. 8 mins: D. Mansell, F. Delaney, K. Ching, 5 mins; E. Langley, C. Arnst, M. Westrupp, 3 mins; L. Stobie, J. Archer, 2 mins - T. Carter, R. Dutton, scr. The start will be at 2 p.m. and the course should be completed soon after 3 p.m.
