WAR WORK OF THE WOMEN’S COMMITTEE A record of four years of war work by the Women’s Committee of the New Zealand Founders’ Society is recorded in the committee’s annual report to oe presented at the Society’s annual meeting in Wellington on 4th September. These activities cover many lields, including assistance at the different services’ clubs, knitting for the Forces, provision of other clothing and comforts, soliders’ parcels and the gift of fleeces to the spinning circle of the Free Fighting French Committee. Mrs A. Burnard is president of the Women's Committee, Miss C. H. Gillespie secretary, and Miss W. Helliwell assistant secretary.
