Wellington, This Day. Sergeant Barney Pouheke Warbrick, of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, lost his life in an aircraft accident near Waiuku yesterday. while on a conversion flight. Sergeant Warbrick’s next-of-kin is his mother. Mrs A. Warbrick. Waipipi, Waiuku. Struck b> a bundle of steel' which glanced off a truck when a crane sling broke at R.N.Z.A.F. Station, Rongotai, on Monday. Aircraftman Grant David Cole Love (father, Mr J. Love. Tokorangi, Haleombe), was knocked backwarn. s:rtk:ng his head heavily on the concrete paving. He sustained serious head injuries, from which he later died. A court of inquiry is being held.—P.A.
