MEETING OF COMMITTEE The monthly meeting of the Nelson R.S.A- executive was attended by Messrs U. R. L. West (president'. G. Gould, G. R. .Jamieson, G. R. McKellar, A. Hunter. N. C. Austin. E. N. Ford. W. A. Page. A. Fowler. J. Muggeridge. R. Kincaid, V. E. Pike. A. C. Hausen and Etr. D. C. Low. Mr P. E. Westrupp and Mr R. N. Harley were ♦xcused from attendance. Mr Page reported that the social committee had appointed Mr N. Jones chairman and Mr Gould secretary, but •s Mr Jones was unable to attend the monthly meetings. Messrs Page. Pike, Kincaid, Gould and Westrupp were appointed to represent the social committee on the general committee. The president welcomed Mr Fowler to the executive, on his appointment to replace Mr Delany, who had been transferred from Nelson He also welcomed the members appointed from the social committee. New members, numbering 35, were as fallows: Messrs M. R. Abrahams. E. H. Andrews, W. Andrew, M H. Bennett. K. R. C. Bird. V. N. -.ißrooks. T. Byrne. F. T. Carpenter. H. ©hampion. M J. Clark, J. W. K. Cosr'grove. G. R. Crighton. G. J. Crichton, ' F. Cuthbert. D. G. Day. N. C. Dixon, B. Fauchellc. A. T. Grieve> F. Hart, - C. W. Hill, D. K Hope. A. C. Hulme. P. Johnson. K. C. McFarlanc, H. S. McGill. A McLaren. I. D. McPherson, M. B. Overton, P. J. Peter, L. K. G. O'Nion. R. Scholfield. C. Smith, J. J. Treweek, R. H. J. Vincent, present war, and J. W. Longworth (Great War). The question of supplying members with individual membership cards was discussed, but as it was considered that the badge was full proof of membership. no action was taken. It was decided to ask headquarters for further definition of the scope of the required recommendations in connection with reconstruction and rehabilitation in New Zealand, and that a meeting would be called shortly to discuss and draw up a report as re- •; guested. " • It was resolved that regular meetings of the executive be held fortnightly. Mr Page was appointed the representative of the R.S.A. on the Housing Committee recently formed at a public meeting in Nelson and Mr E. N. Ford was re-appointed to the City Patriotic Committee.
