MASS ARRESTS CONTINUE

GERMAN GENERALS AND CIVIL SERVANTS London. Aug. 11. Mass arrests continue in Germany, says Moscow radio. Not only generals but important civil servants are still being arrested. There has been fighting between Black* Guard men and Germany Army officers in East Prussia and the Danzig area. The radio adds that Hitjer has issued a new order which says: “Officers who do not obey the recent order to substitute the Nazi for the Army salute are liable to be courtmartialled. Court judges have been instructed to pa 3s the death sentence on all cases of conscious refusal to give the Nazi salute.” The President of the German National Committee in Moscow, General Seydlitz, broadcasting from Moscow, told German generals that fear already held Hitler and his circle in its grip. "Millions are against Hitlerites both in civilian and army spheres,” General Seydlitz added.
