DRAGON IN TIGHT SPOT WOUNDED SAILORS WOULD NOT LEAVE SHIP A first-class spirit prevails in the Polish Navy. Sailors of the Dragon, proud of having been wounded in such a historical naval operation, refused to leave ship and go to a hospital. The Dragon was for a short time in a rather awkward situation when under heavy artillery fire from the coast. By smokescreens and skilful ryanoeuvring she managed to escape from German fire.
