A NELSON CHRONOLOGY 29th May, 1843: Messrs Tytler and Cautley came up to dine, and afterwards Messrs Bell, Domett, and Jollie. We had “Merrily goes the Mill Stream on,” (apropos to the new Flour Mill) and the “Cork Leg.” They left at one o’clock saying they had spent the happiest time since in New Zealand—Diary of a settler.
