HUNDRED YEARS AGO TO-DAY
A NELSON CHRONOLOGY 27th May 1843: At a meeting of the Nelson Flour Mill Company the committee reported that, a proper site could be found on an acre fronting Hardy Street, near the Eel Pond. The committee estimated that the mill could be erected and brought into operation for £4OO. — “Nelson Examiner.”
