SCATTERED RAIN, BUT IMPROVING Wellington, This Day. The indications are for moderate to fresh south-easterly to southerly winds, decreasing to-morrow, with some scattered rain at first, but the weather will be mainly fair tomorrow: temperatures cool. The further outlook is for fair conditions.
A strong south-easterly wind which started during the night continued in heavy gusts this morning. Temperatures overnight Mere ten degrees tr.ilder than had been experienced lor the last 10 days, the minimum reading at the Cawthron Institute last night being 4L6 degrees. The weather in Nelson toJay \xas cold with overcast skies. Yesterday only 1 hour 5 minutes’ bright sunshine was recorded.
