MARCHING DISPLAY

SPLENDID ENTRIES The number of teams to compete on Saturday next at Trafalgar Park will be 12 for the Inter-House Marching Championship and to judge from the training work that is being done every evening, a very close contest should result. Eighteen teams have entered for the Tug-of-War Championship and from reports to hand of form, the winner will be very hard to pick. Given a fine day. many thousands of both Nelson City and country residents are expected to view this colourful and spectacular programme that is being offered to them and as the object is to provide funds for the Returned Servicemen’s Gratitude Building Fund, full support is anticipated.
