POST-WAR AIR ROUTES

Auckland, April 17. Satisfaction that the interests of the British possessions in the Pacific would receive every possible consideration by the New Zealand Government when post-war air routes were being fixed was expressed in an interview by the Governor of Fiji. Major-General Sir Philip Mitchell. He has completed a holiday in New Zealand, accompanied by Lady Mitchell and Major E. W. F. Harrop. an Aucklander, who was recently appointed an A.D.C. During his holiday of about a month in the Dominion Sir Philip has spent much of his time trout fishing on the Tongariro River. He was loud in his praises of the sport.—P.A.
