DISASTROUS FIRE IN BOMBAY
Bombay, April 15. One thousand persons, 67 of whom have since died in hospital, were injured in a fire which broke out on Friday night in a congested part of Bombay. Thousands were made homeless. About half the injured were detained in hospital for treatment. A fire on a ship in Bombay docks spread to some ammunition, causing two violent explos'ons which ignited adjacent warehouses.
