DEATHS FROM BENGAL FAMINE
Calcutta, April 14. Official figures show that 24.100 sick and destitute persons died in hospital in Bengal during the famine or as a re suit of the aftermalh m 55 months ended 31st March. There were 99.566 hospital admissions and 61,511 were discharged after treatment.
