BRITISH PREFABRICATED HOUSE?
London, Feb. 9. Lord Portal. Minister of Works, indicated in the House of Lords that hundreds of thousands of families after the war will live in prefabricated houses erected and leased by the Government. Some houses will be built in a week but none will be allowed to stand longer than ten years. Some houses will be steel > ram£ ' ri ' capable of mass production before assembly.
