BUSH FIRES IN VICTORIA
CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE DONE
Melbourne, Feb. 7.
Bush fires broke out again in Victoria during the week end —the second time on a serious scale this year. Thickly timbered Gippsland areas are threatened and large tracts of grass lands and much valuable timber has already been burned. Most of the fires are reported to be under control, but hundreds of fire-fighters are standing guard against further outbreaks.
