PRESENTATION OF PORTRAIT

SERGEANT A. C. HULME V C

A portrait in oils of Sergeant A. C. Hulme V.C., will be presented to the Nelson- City Council, in trust for the whole district, at a public function at the City Council Chamber to-morrow evening at 8 o’clock. The portrait was painted by Archibald Nicol, of Christchurch, and will be handed to the council, on behalf of the subscribers, by Mr C. R. Fell.

The Mayor (Mr E. R. Neale) extends a cordial invitation to the public to attend the function.
