PEACE LEAFLETS
SERIOUS EFFECTS IN BERLIN London, Feb. 4. Disturbances and clashes were caused in Berlin recently by peace leaflets distributed among troops, as a result of which S.S. reinforcements were sent to Berlin from other parts of Germany, says the Stockholm "Afton Tidningen.” The leaflets read: "Only peace will end the bombing. Only the Hitler clique is resisting peace. It must be wiped out by revolt of the whole population. Officers and soldiers—you have weapons and power. Use them for the benefit of the people. Accept the leadei'ship of the masses. In crying for peace, the people are urgent that you should take decisive action.”
