MOSCOW POLICY
“VIOLATION” OF LATVIA Washington, Feb. 4 The Latvian Minister, Dr. Alfrec Bilmanis, interviewed regarding Moscow’s new policy which enumerates Latvia among, the Soviet’s 16 republics, said: “I speak only for Latvia, which regards it as a flagrant violation of the Atlantic Charter and continued violation of a free people. We dislike it. and we do not recognise it. I strongly hope the Atlantic Charter, which Russia signed, will be respected.”
