Sergeant T. Johnson, who has been in charge of the Paekakariki police for some time and recently has been relieving at Petone, is to be transferred to Blenheim. Sergeant Johnson is the president of the New Zealand Police Association.
Mr and Mrs H. McConehie. of Victoria Heights. Nelson, have received advice that their son. Sergt. Phillip McConehie, D.C.M.. has gained his commission.
Miss Margaret Petterson. oi Hamama. Takaka, who has held a position in the Bank of New Zealand. Takaka. for two years, has left for Christchurch, Where she will attend Training College.
