ATTACK BY U.S. BOMBERS MARAUDERS OVER FRENCH COAST (Rec. 10.0 a.m.) London, Feb. 3. Wilhelmshaven was attacked by United States heavy bombers to-day. It was the eighth attack by United States aircraft, the last being on 3rd November when the largest United States force dispatched to that date took part. American Marauder medium bombers escorted and covered by Spitfires, today attacked military objects on the northern French coast, unchallenged by fighters. They returned without loss. (Rec. 12.40 p.m.) London, Feb. 3. More than 1100 aircraft—heavy bombers and fighters—took part.
