AMERICAN AIR ACE RECORD
Washington, Jan. 6. It is officially announced that Major Gregor Boyington, of the Marine Corps has equalled the American ace record by shooting down 26 enemy planes. Major Boyington equals the record of Captain Rickfenbacker in the last war and Major Joseph Foss in this war.
