PRESENTS FROM THE MIDDLE EAST
I have a mother nen and eight little chickens, and we will have some more on Sunday. I hurry home from school and watch them. I received a necklace, a silver chain and a dear little hanky with “I love you” on it, from my Uncle Ron, who is in the Middle East. I cut out my letter from “The Mail” and Mummy has posted it to Uncle Ron, so he will know I belong to the Wonderland Club. Mummy took Carol, lan and me to Tahuna and we are going again in the holidays. lan cried because we had to leave the swings; he didn’t want to go home. Gloria Schwass, Richmond.
