RICHMOND PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE
1943 CONTRIBUTIONS £1,132 For the present financial year, ending this mpnth, Richmond has contributed a total of £1,132 2s lOd to the Provincial Patriotic Fund. The committee acknowledges the following donations with thanks, including an amount of £2 Us. received from the Waimea B’ootball Club, being the whole proceeds from the gate taken at a recent friendly match between the Waimea and Rival Football Clubs. This amount would have been larger but for the unfavourable weather on the day of the game. The committee’s appointment terminates at the end of September, and a new committee is required, under the constitution, for the ensuing twelve months.
