BOMB EXPLOSIONS IN PERTH
GARAGE AND CARS WRECKED PREVIOUS OUTRAGES RECALLED (Rec. 10 a.m.) Perth, This Day. Bombs were exploded in a garage of a Kalgoorlij doctor. Two separate detonations of what are believed to have been dynamite charges wrecked the building and two cars. Windows 100 yards away were smashed and the explosions woke residents several miles away. Previous dynamite outrages in Kalgoorlie were in December, 1941, at a magistrate’s residence, and in February, 1942, when fourteen people were killed by a bomb thrown into a crowded house.—P.A.
