Dr. W. E. Gye, Director - of the Imperial Cancer Research Fund, speaking at the annual meeting, said: “Some strains of malignant cancer cells have been transplanted over periods of more than 30 years. Cells which still continue to grow are lineal descendants of those which have survived transplantation through innumerable hosts of most varied genetical constitutions.”—P.A.
