A PROTEST
ITo tne Editor l Sir, —I wish to protest against an announcement in yesterday’s paper regarding a holiday on Monday next being styled “Anzac Day.” Now. Sir, let them call it “blood-money day,” or some other fine thing, but for God’s sake and for the sake cf a memory of the men who have gone don’t call it “Anzac Day.”—l am, etc., DIGGER 1914-18.
