GERMAN INDUSTRY

NO SIGN OF MASS MIGRATION FROM RUHR Rugby, April 28. There are no definite signs of a mass migration of German industry eastward out of range of Allied bombers, either from western Europe or the Ruhr itself, states an official of the Ministry of Economic Warfare. There are fewer signs of movement away from the Ruhr than from elsewhere, which means that the heavy industries cannot be transplanted. This is regarded as good news for the Allies, as it would benefit the enemy if the huge war production of the Ruhr could be moved out of range of bombing, or dispersed in single units over a wide area.—B.O.W
