“PRETTY GRIM”
LIFE INSIDE ITALY London, Mar. 23. “Evening Standard” diarist says that British nationals repatriated from Rome and other Italian cities recently report that life inside Italy is “pretty grim for all classes.” The Roman Foxhounds, an exclusive society, of which King Victor Emanuel is president, no longer meets, and the foxes have been killed for human consumption.
