EGG PRICES IN NELSON
NOW 2s 6d PER DOZEN An amendment to the new price order (No. 128) which was issued by the Price Tribunal a short time ago, has been issued. This amendment sets the retail price of ungraded eggs in the Nelson district at 2s 6d per dozen, an increase of one penny. This mc-ans that the producers will also receive an increase of one penny, making the price paid to them 2s 3d per dozen.
