INDIA DEADLOCK
MOVE NOW MAY BEAR FRUIT POLITICAL LEADERS SPEAK WITH GANDHI (Rec. 10.0 a.m.) Bombay, Mar. 10. Thirty-five political leaders. including Sir Tej Sapru and Dr. Rajagopalachari, Leader of Congress in Madras, issued the following statement* “Recent talks with Gandhi have led us to believe that a move for reconciliation at the present juncture will bear fruit. It is our conviction that if Gandhi were liberated he would do his best to give guidance and assistance in reaching a solution of the internal deadlock.”— P.A.
