CANADA TRAINS PARATROOPS
Ottawa, Mar. 5. Canada is to train a Paratroop Battalion on Canadian soil The entire personnel of the Parachute Battalion is being moved to Canada from Fort Benring. Georgia. U S A., where they previously have been trained With the transfer of the battalion complete equipment is to so into operation. The equipment Includes a jump tower, high and low mockup towers which duplicate the shock of parachutes opening, and a landing trainer designed to teach recruits the proper landing method.
