SUGGESTION IN PARLIAMENT (From Our Parliamentary Reporter) Wellington, Mar. 6. The National Party’s policy as outlined by the Leader of the Opposition. Mr S. G. Holland, in the Christchurch by-election was criticised by Mr F. Frost (Government, New Plymouth) in the Address-in-Reply debate in the House of Representatives to-day. However the members of the Opposition Party were as individuals. he said, they were bound by their official policy. One of its planks was that trades union domination should cease. Opposition members; Trades hall domination. Mr. F. W. Doidge (Opposition), Tauranga): The trades hall dominated the Government in the Scrimgeour affair and ordered his reinstatement and he was then reinstated. Mr Frost: The National Party is dominated by the big interests of the country. The Leader of the Opposition: There will be no domination of the National Party b}' anyone.
