AIR FORCE PLANE OVERDUE
FOUR OCCUPANTS NELSONIAN INCLUDED Wellington, This Day. An aircraft of the R.N.Z.A.F. engaged on a coastal training flight was overdue last evening when it failed to return to the base. A search was immediately instituted without success. The occupants of the plane were: Pilot Officer Rodney George Dandy; Mrs R. G. Dandy (wife), Wellington. Sergeant Douglas Gordon Martyn; Mrs E. M. Martyn (mother), Waihi. Sergeant Graham Macleod Martin; Mrs G. M. Martin (wife), Christchurch. Sergeant Edward Reid Dodson; Mrs V. L. Dodson (wife), Nelson.— P.A. MISSING ON AIR OPERATIONS In an Air Force casualty list issued today Norman John Rowe (Mr A. Rowe, father), Nelson, was reported missing on air operations.
