AN EELING ADVENTURE

We went ccling last night down at the river. I told Jim to hold on to my line while I threw it out where the water was deep, but Jim let it go. so I lost my line. But. when Jimmy drew in his line, the hook was caught in my line. I pulled in my line which I had lost and on the end was a big whopper of an eel. I did get a surprise and so did the others. We weren't expecting an eel. We have found twelve big snail shells, bigger than a soup spoon. These are not the ordinary garden snails.— Pam Robert* on. Wainui.. Takaka.
