LABOUR DAY WEEKEND CHIEF INTEREST IN TRENTHAM • By “Cuddle”) To-morrow there will be racing at Gore and Wellington, with trotting at Auckland and Greymouth, while on Monday there will be no less than eight meetings—racing at Wellington. Waikato. Waverley, Poverty Bay. and South Canterbury, with trotting at Auckland, Greymouth and Oamaiu. Most interest will centre on the Wellington fixture, of course, and the club is assured of a great meeting. All the best handicappers are in. There is a record Wellesley Stakes field for two- ' year-olds, and the best three-year-olds are in a record Guineas field.
