CONVICTED AFTER LONG TRIAL

LEADERS GERMAN-AMERICAN BUND New York, Oct. 20. Leaders of the German-American Bund, including the national fuhrer German Kunze, were convicted by the Federal Court after a month’s trial on charges of counselling members to evade military service. One leader was acquitted. Conviction carries a maximum sentence of five years’ imprisonment with a 10.000 dollar fine.—P.A.
