WOMEN’S DIVISION

STOKE-NELSON BRANCH The monthly meeting of the StokeNelson branch of the W.D.F.U. was held in the Stoke Hall. Mrs Hodge, president, was in the chair. Although the afternoon turned out stormy, there was a good attendance of members. All members helped to sew labels on a large number of garments to be sent forward for refugee parcels for the Lady Galway Guild. Mrs Ching did good business at the bring and buy stall. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames Allen and Macdonald.
