GERMAN CHARGED WITH TREASON
New York, Oct. 7. A grand jury indicted Helmut Leiner, a German of New York, on a charge of treason arising in connection with the Nazi saboteurs who landed on the east coast from a German submarine in June. Leiner is one of five New Yorkers accused of aiding the saboteurs, of whom six were executed. —P.A.
