SOLID PLASTERERS’ AWARD
Wellington, This Day. Complete agreement was reached yesterday by the conciliation council dealing with the application for a new award covering solid plasterers in the Northern, Taranaki, Wellington, MarlI borough and Nelson industrial districts. The new award will bo the same as the award it will supersede. Some machinery clauses were altered to bring them into line with the correspondingclauses in other building trade awards. Hours of work will be the same as 1 - eviously, 40 a week, and rates of pay the same, 2s 10|d an hour plus the two cost-of-living increases granted by the Court of Arbitration.—F.A.
