SUDA BAY BOMBED
TOBRUK ALSO RECEIVES R.A.F. VISIT (Rec. 2 p.m.) Rugby, Oct. 8. R.A.F. heavy bombers on Wednesday night bombed a jetty at Suda Bay in Crete, states a Cairo message. Medium bombers on the same night attacked the harbour at Tobruk. Flying conditions were very bad but fires were observed on the north shore of the harbour. Other medium bombers attacked targets between Solium and El Daba 8.0. W.
