WHAT THE GERMANS DESIRE
TO ENJOY RESULTS OF CONQUESTS (Rec. 10.15 a.m.) Rugby, Aug. 11. Dr. Goebbels in a speech last night stressed the selfishness and materialistic outlook of the German war aims. He said that Germany's most ardent desire; was to end the war so that the Germans could enjoy the results of their conquests. They were fighting the war for grain and bread for fully laden tables, and for materials to supply the people with cars, tractors, cinemas, etc.—B.O.W.
