PUBLIC NOTICES TAKAKA TOWN BOARD "VOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it is the intention of the Takaka Town Board at : t- next meeting to be held on Tuesaay? 14th July, 1942, to make and levy. under Section 35 of the Town Boards Act, 1908. and its Amendments, and Section 51 of the Rating Act. 1925, a GENERAL RATE of three-farthings (jd) in the pound (£> on the Capital Value over the whole of the rateable property in the Takaka Town District for the period commencing Ist April, 1942, and ending 31st March, 1943, and under Section 2 of the Town Boards Amendment Act, 1910, and Section 89 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920. a uniform annual sanitary fee of forty shillings (40/-) pe'* pan, payable in one sum on the 26th August, 1942, at the Town Board's Office. Untier Section 52 of "The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1926,” and Section 51 of “The Rating Act, 1925,” a HOSPITAL RATE of nine-sixteenths (9-16th) of a penny in the pound upon the capital value of the whole of the rateable property within the County of Takaka, including the Takaka Town area. All such rates to be for a period of one year, commencing on the Ist day of April. 1942, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1943, and payable in one sum at the office of the Takaka County Council, Takaka, on Wednesday, the 26th day of August, 1942.
