NEW GRAVING DOCK FOR SOUTH AFRICA
(Rec. 12.30 p.m.) Capetown, April 8. Construction is beginning immediately of a 2.000.000 graving dock Britain is providing all the machinery and the caissons and also contributing £750.000 The dock will not be less than 1000 feet long and 45 feet deep. The construction is expected to take two vears.—P.A.
