TROTTING DRIVER’S DEATH

Auckland, Feb 17. The death occurred to-night of Mr Arthur Thomas Newdick, aged 51, manager of Newdick Bros., Ltd., butter, produce and general merchants. Mr Newdick was closely associated with trotting for over 20 years, and in conjunction with his brother successfully raced a number of horses. In a fall while driving Moko Direct in the Papakura Handicap at Epsom last Saturday Mr Newdick received severe head injuries.
