ATTACK ON BEAVERBROOK

BY EDITOR OF INDIAN PAPER Calcutta, Feb. 16. In an article in “The Statesman.” Mr Arthur Moore, editor of the newspaper, bitterly attacks Lord Beaverbrook, saying: “I char e Beaverbrook with being the author of our vicissitudes in Libya, our disaster in Crete, and our lack of preparation in the Far East. He is the evil genius of the Inner Cabinet. Let him be made a duke or anything, but in Heaven's name let him resign quickly. He has never been right. Someone should tell the truth about this man. He will be our ruin if he remains in office.”—P.A.
